Structural composition:
Steel wire rope skeleton: It is the core support structure of the Flame Retardant Conveying Belt, composed of multiple strands of high-strength steel wire ropes arranged in parallel. These steel wire ropes are usually subjected to special treatments such as galvanizing to improve their corrosion resistance. The diameter and spacing of the steel wire rope depend on the strength grade and usage requirements of the conveyor belt. Generally, the diameter is between 3-10mm and the spacing is about 10-20mm. Core rubber: filled between and around the steel wire rope, it plays a role in fixing the steel wire rope, transmitting stress, and buffering external forces. at there is no relative sliding between the steel wire rope and rubber during the operation of the conveyor belt.
Covering rubber: divided into upper covering glue and lower covering glue, covering the upper and lower surfaces of the Burning Retardant Belt. The main function is to protect the steel wire rope and core rubber from the wear, impact, and corrosion of external materials, while providing a good friction coefficient to ensure stable transportation of materials on the conveyor belt. The thickness of the upper cover layer of a regular steel wire rope core conveyor belt is generally around 5-8mm, and the thickness of the lower cover layer is generally around 5-6mm.
Edge rubber: located on both sides of the conveyor belt, used to seal the edges of the conveyor belt, prevent material leakage from the edges, and also protect the steel wire rope and core glue, avoiding wear and damage to the edge parts.
