Steel wire rope core: As the core support structure of General Purpose Flame Retardant Steel Cord Conveyor Belt, it is composed of multiple strands of high-strength and high toughness steel wire ropes arranged in parallel. These steel wire ropes are usually subjected to special surface treatments, such as galvanizing, to enhance their corrosion resistance and ensure good mechanical properties even in complex working environments. The diameter and spacing of the steel wire rope will be precisely designed according to the specific specifications and usage scenarios of the Conveyor Belt. Generally speaking, the diameter range is between 3-10 millimeters and the spacing is around 10-20 millimeters to balance the strength and flexibility of the conveyor belt.
Anti tear layer: This is the key structure that distinguishes the anti tear steel wire rope core conveyor belt from ordinary conveyor belts. The tear resistant layer is usually made of high-strength fiber fabric or steel wire mesh, which is tightly attached to the upper or lower sides of the steel wire rope core. Fiber fabrics can be made of high-performance fibers such as aramid and polyester, which have excellent tear resistance and can effectively prevent sharp materials from directly damaging the steel wire rope core; Steel wire mesh provides additional protection for conveyor belts due to its high strength and rigidity. When the conveyor belt is impacted by external forces or pierced by sharp objects, the tear resistant layer can disperse stress and prevent further tearing.
Covering rubber: Steel Cord Conveyor Belt divided into upper covering glue and lower covering rubber, covering the upper and lower surfaces of the conveyor belt. The upper covering adhesive is in direct contact with the conveyed material and needs to have good wear resistance, impact resistance, and corrosion resistance to resist material wear, impact, and chemical erosion. The lower covering adhesive mainly bears the tension and friction of the conveyor belt during operation, requiring high strength and fatigue resistance. The thickness of the covering adhesive is generally between 5-8 millimeters and can be adjusted according to different usage conditions.
Edge rubber: located on both sides of Common Steel Cord Conveyor Belt, used to seal the edges of the conveyor belt and prevent material leakage from the edges. At the same time, edge rubber can also protect the edge parts of the steel wire rope core and tear resistant layer, avoiding wear and damage, ensuring that the overall performance of the conveyor belt is not affected.
