In the heavy-load transportation sectors such as mining and chemical industries, aramid conveyor belts are highly favored due to their high strength and durability. Their performance depends on three core raw materials.
The primary raw material is aramid fiber, which serves as the key material for the backbone layer of the Conveyor Belt. It is much stronger than steel wires, weighs only 1/5 of steel wires, and can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -196℃ to 204℃. This effectively prevents the conveyor belt from breaking under heavy loads and ensures long-term stable operation.
The second material is the rubber covering layer, which is mostly made of styrene-butadiene rubber or chloroprene rubber. This type of rubber has strong wear resistance and can withstand the frictional wear caused by materials such as ores. It also has acid and alkali resistance, anti-aging properties, and can adapt to the complex working environment in mines, protecting the internal skeleton from erosion.
